Lil Cherub signups this weekend!

Lil Cherubs is a charity kids consignment sale held at Centenary United Methodist Church (Danville KY) twice a year. Sign ups to sell are this weekend 7/31 at 7:31 pm. There are 150 sellers and over 125 volunteers that help to put on this HUGE sale! Sellers may bring up to 200 items, but must sell at least 50 to register. The proceeds from the sale go to help children's ministries at Centenary, in our community, and around the world!

5. Your baby won’t care: Older kids who go to school may care a lot about their clothes, but babies are like a free fashion ride. You can dress them in any old thing and all they care about is you, food, and sleep.
6. It save you money! This is a biggie. Kids cost A LOT. One way to significantly lower costs is to buy used baby gear and clothing. Why not save the money for a future family vacation instead or take longer maternity leave? Your child will benefit more from extra time with you than with a brand new wardrobe.

Boys 18M + baby clothes

I'm taking in a lot of nice boys 18M summer clothing and baby clothes. I'll also be taking another patriotic tutu. Hope to have some embroidered Ts for 4th of July! I have a really cute design with a truck and firecrackers in the bed of the truck! I'll post pictures once I get one finished.

Old fashion slip n slide - cheap

Back in the day we had the original slip n slides...yep metal stakes and all. Needless to say they were a bit dangerous LOL. We finally made our own with a shower curtain liner...it was bigger and lasted longer. So, grab a soaker hose and scope out a moderate hill and you have a great afternoon!

I'll be putting out the last of summer clothing this week. I'll start early fall in July!

Idea for saving $$

Big savings alert..you can wash Lil Swimmers. Yep - throw them in the wash/dryer with the bathing suits (clean ones of course!). They will hold up through about 5 cycles. This saved me a LOT of $$ when we had one hour swim class last summer every day for 2 weeks!
I'm putting in a pack of NEW leftover Lil Swimmers in my booth today (14 size Med 24 to 34 pounds) for $3.99. They are Pooh/Finding Nemo designs (blue).

Sixth Anniversary!!!

Wow! I can hardly believe I've had Booth #98 for six years. It has been such a blessing to be able to open my shop. I've met some incredible families over the years, been able to help a few people down on their luck, had a great time figuring out what my customers wants/needs are, and it has given me a great outlet for my personal "need" while raising my children and staying home. I can say that I wouldn't be where I am now personally, spiritually, emotionally, or financially without taking on this risk.
